Dear Esteemed Members of NSG,

It is an immense honor and privilege for me (and my family) to serve as the President of the Nepalese Society of Gastroenterology (NSG), one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking professional societies in Nepal. I am equally honored to follow in the footsteps of our outgoing President, Dr. Pradip Vaidya, whose exceptional grace, energy, and passion for the Society’s affairs and its members have been truly inspiring.

I am genuinely thrilled to collaborate with an exceptionally dedicated and forward-thinking governing council. Our council members possess a deep commitment to the well-being of our members and are steadfast in their efforts to foster exemplary training and best practices within our field. They are wholeheartedly devoted to serving our diverse membership, from the newest entrants in the field to the most seasoned professionals. Their unwavering commitment ensures the creation of ample opportunities for the enhancement and advancement of our members’ careers, thereby contributing significantly to the overall progress of our society.

Our collective vision for the Nepalese Society of Gastroenterology is to continue building a community that supports professional growth, encourages innovation, and upholds the highest standards of medical practice.
